Update on buildings

 We have been talking with several modular building manufacturers. Most have been interested in the challenge of designing a library building. We've gotten some quotes and they are in the ballpark at least of what we expected. Costs go down if we order more than one identical structure. We want to have at least six libraries in the northeast, southeast, North central, South central, northwest and southwest. Anybody in these areas of the country with some land and an interest in hosting a HASTE Library, please get in touch with us at hastelibrary@proton.me. A quick post to let everyone know that we have been talking to steel building manufacturers and other pre-fab building companies. They are going to give us quotes on purpose designed structures to serve as library buildings. With room for stacks and an office and storage, we estimate that about a 1200 to 1500 square foot building will hold 20,000 books. Vicki and I are excited and eager to begin. As soon as we have numbers I will post them here. Keep us and HASTE Library in your prayers.

 Heritage Agriculture, Science, Technology, Engineering. That's what the HASTE stands for. We are intent on assembling libraries in several strategic areas in the United States. These libraries will preserve knowledge that this country will desperately need in the times to come. We believe that a collapse is coming. The political class and their bosses in the U.S. and internationally are too incompetent to long maintain what was handed to them by others. Whether the collapse is triggered by an attack with an EMP, or a natural solar flare event, or an economic failure or a plague the end result is the loss of our current way of life. We will need to rebuild civilization and it won't be easy. We will be starting over from a much lower industrial and agricultural base. All the knowledge of how to begin again is already available to us if we can preserve it. A half dozen libraries around the U.S. each with 20,000 books is one key element in recovery. Right now, leftist librarians are throwing away books. These can be saved for very little cost. My wife and I are both in our early 70s. Chances are we won't see the new and renewed United States that will arise again after the collapse with the grace of God and hard work but we can begin. Vicki has a masters in Library Science and worked as a research librarian. I worked in Crisis Management. To do this correctly we intend to form a tax exempt non-profit. We won't be taking any salaries from this project. We have our savings. we do ask for help in initiating this. If you can afford to donate money we have a page on GiveSendGo.
